This is a sacred space for my art, photographs, images of my paintings, sketches and doodles.
Here you will find some of my favorite work and maybe even a bit of chaotic organization. I may
even include some rambling thoughts or creative ideas which may match or possibly even oppose
the visual, but will always be true to who I am as an artist ... enjoy, namaste ...
I always have these with me and often reach for them for grounding & connection.
A key that opened something, I imagine a drawer, in my Great-grandma Mac's house,
a penny with a heart cut out that my son gave me &
an engraved silver lock given to me about ten years ago by my late beloved.
This week I was lucky enough to attend a 6 Year Old's birthday party with plenty of, you guessed it, sugar in various forms. I actually took more pics of people than treats. :) But here are a few pics of the bounty & one of the birthday boy!
Chocolate on Chocolate. mmmmmmm
(Adults seem to have been more drawn to the cupcakes,
something about not wanting to have a blue mouth...)
Happy Birthday David!
Super Hero Pop Rocks and Candy Sticks.
(candy sticks?? yeah those went by a different name when I was growing up)
Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I do not sleep. I am in a thousand winds that blow, I am the softly falling snow. I am the gentle showers of rain, I am the fields of ripening grain. I am in the morning hush, I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight, I am the starshine of the night. I am in the flowers that bloom, I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing, I am in each lovely thing. Do not stand at my grave bereft I am not there. I have not left.
