You and i have spoken all these words,
But for the way we have to go words are no preparation.
i have one small drop of knowing in my soul.
Let it dissolve in Your Ocean!

You and I will be together till the universe dissolves.

Although the bricks I built my wall with had a very
important purpose which was to protect me
and to insure my survival,
at some point the whole structure began
to cave in on me creating more harm than good.

The time has come, with God's help,
to dismantle the wall brick by brick.

The time has come to live and
be free from the barriers that hold me back.

I am working on the first lesson of A Course In Weight Loss where we really dig into the bricks of the wall we have built around ourselves. One of the other members of the group shared this today. I think it is very powerful and fits perfectly.
"This Brick Wall" by Rene Bennett

One by one
Through the years
A wall was built
With pain and fears

Brick by brick
It was layed
On solid ground
Where it stayed

I tried to listen
As you spoke to me
Words of wisdom
And prophecy

Yet, I could not hear
Through the wall
Built with strength
As not to fall

Then one day
From the sky
I thought I heard
An angel cry

Weeping softly
Teardrops fell
Gathered from
Life's wishing well

Two more angels
Joined her side
Hand in hand
All three cried

Thunder bellowed
Rain did fall
Tearing down
My sturdy wall

Yet, through the fog
I found my way
So, brick by brick
I build today

Reiki Principles

 Just for today
      don't worry,
      don't be angry,
      be kind,
      be grateful,
and work hard at a meditative practice.
