Three more from the series i did last November...

These have always felt too personal to put out on a public site.

But today i am choosing to respond to Scott Bennett's story by stepping out and living more fully instead of choosing a smaller and smaller life.

These Journal entries were created in early November 2010 (as were the two 're-posted' a few entries back) after hearing the news that the cancer Scott was working against had metastasized into His blood and lungs.

i'll let the images tell the story from here... however, please feel free to ask me anything you'd like to know about any or all...

The secret of health for both mind and body

is not to mourn for the past,

not to worry about the future,

or not to anticipate troubles,

but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.

Water week...

i had a hard time getting going on my Water page. these are such emotional days.
i know *some* of it was a bit of avoidance, but the other part was 'where do i start???'
i guess Elements of Art Journaling is fitting into my life at the exact right time.

under what can be seen here are a couple of layers of writing.
once i got going i loved it.
it was as if the emotions from the writing
bubbled up to the surface with all the tears i had shed.

'tears flow from my eyes like a waterfall crashing into the river Below'

Air week...

my finished Air Week spread... these weeks are challenging all over and i'm very grateful to be in this group, Elements of Art Journaling, with Effy.  i know the pic could be better but i'm not up to messing with it, but wanted to get it posted anyway.

Breathing in, i know i am breathing in.
Breathing out, i know i am breathing out.
Breathing in, i feel calm.
Breathing out, i feel at ease.
Breathing in, i smile.
Breathing out, i release all my worries and anxieties.
