Choosing, The ego or the heart...

Every minute of everyday i have a choice of where i will spend the time in my head...

Freaking out, in fear, in anger, in hopelessness...

                       or...
in peace, and believing that everything can and will be alright...

overall, eyes open, i'm choosing to be in a place of  focused peace...
and sending healing energy to all involved here...

with love, debra

In and Out

Exchange between me and and life....

All you need is Love...

i was feeling in my body the stress & fear of hearing the news of the malignancy. but also felt i would fall apart and needed to keep it together. so i put a layer of armor on top of the fear and freak out. but at the end i knew what i really needed was to let go of the fear, let go of the stress, let go of the anger and cover everything in love because after all, all you need is love. the Beatles say so and so it is.

Spring Growth

the poem i used for these pages is written by Eduardo Martinez named
"Mother Earth, Father Sky".

Mother Earth, Father Sky
You blessed me today
with the sounds & sights of your lovemaking...
The wind blowing amongst the trees & leaves
like a whisper in a lover's ear.
The sun warming the Earth,
like the slight touch on a lover's skin.
And I saw & heard the river
be moved by your lovemaking too,
flowing rapidly sometimes,
slowing down to a trickle at other times,
wanting your embrace to last forever...
I am your son...
And as I opened my eyes,
I felt the wind caressing my hair,
the sun warming my own skin,
& my heart feelings flowing just like the river...
I felt loved...
